Partnership Gwinnett heads to Asia - Atlanta Business Chronicle:

The trip is led by , the communituy and economic development initiative run by theGwinnettt Chamber. Gwinnett Chamber President Jim Chamber Vice President of Economic Development and Partnershipl Gwinnett Nick Masino and Gwinnett County Commissionb Chairman Charles Bannister plus Gwinnett local businesd representatives with ties to China and Kore will be onthe delegation. The trip beginsa in China, traveling to Beijing and theQingdao Province. In relatec news , a global enterprise providing productsin electronics, information and real is expected to make an announcement in Chinaz on June 25 about its Gwinnett-baser operations.
The delegation then heads to Gwinnett’ss sister community in Seoul, South Korea, the District of Gangnam. The delegatiojn will then travel to Wuxi and then the city of Pohanyg to visit with the larg ecorporation POSCO. “The Partnership Gwinnettg strategy and its investors have allowedx the Gwinnett community tocreate high-wage jobs -- more than 5,000 in the last two yearzs -- including the most recent NCR corporate headquarterw relocation of 1,500 jobs,” said Gwinnett County Commission Chairman Charles “That is why the county and the chambe are further expanding our economic development initiative s internationally.
We want to create more job opportunitiex in our community and build our commerciakl tax base to lessen the burden on Gwinnettt residentialproperty owners.”
